The 2023 Ford Escape was redesigned with sleek aesthetics and modern efficiency in mind. The exterior and interior received a makeover, plus there are new advanced safety features and technology to play with. You can choose from an EcoBoost, hybrid or plug-in hybrid powertrain option, all of which have an EPA-estimated range of at least 400 miles per tank.
The Escape models available are the Base, ST-Line, Active, Platinum and Plug-in Hybrid. The Base and Active have a 1.5-liter EcoBoost engine option with front or all-wheel drive compatibility. The Platinum model has a 2.0 liter EcoBoost engine possible with all wheel drive as well as a hybrid powertrain option that is compatible with both front and all wheel drive vehicles.
Three models of the new sporty ST-Line will be offered and it has a more athletic look than earlier versions, with a series-specific black mesh grille, unique rear skid plate and large single-wing rear spoiler. All exterior surfaces are monochromatically painted on this model and the LED light bar stretches from one headlight to the other on the Elite model.
The ST-Line has a 1.5-liter EcoBoost engine that produces 180 horsepower, and it is available with front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive. The ST-Line Select and ST-Line Elite models both offer an available 2.0-liter EcoBoost engine that produces 250 horsepower, and they come standard with all wheel drive. Both of these models also have a hybrid option available
The ST-Line comes standard with 18-inch Rock Metallic painted aluminum wheels, but optional 19-inch Machine-Faced Ebony Painted aluminum wheels that are instead standard on the ST-Line Elite model.
TheST - Line has a dark Ebony interior WITH red highlights stitchingon the door panels, seat trim, center armrest, floor mats and steering wheel to give it a calming feeling. The flat=bottom steering wheel also come as default.
